History
Good Christian Men, Rejoice, or In Dulci Jubilo its' original Latin title, is a fourteenth century German carol. It is an example of a macaronic carol, as the original lyric combined two languages: Latin and German.
Shout for joy, O heavens; rejoice, O earth; burst into song, O mountains! For the LORD comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones. Isaiah 49:13 NASB
