About the Instructor
Wave Music Studio instructor, Andy Fling, is a Christian state certified music educator with 18 years experience connecting with kids and helping to make them successful. He believes that kids learn best when they are having fun. It is with this belief that he has creates lessons, that not only excite young music students to learn, but also open up a world of understanding about the music they hear.
Private Music Lessons
If you are interested in private music instruction, Private instruction on piano, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, and trombone. Lessons are available in your home or at the music studio. Discounts are given to homeschooled students scheduling their lessons before 3:00PM.

Class Piano (Group Instruction)
Class piano students must be between the ages of 6 and 10 and attend. Each student must attend with their own electronic keyboard. Students meet each week for 30 minutes. Enrolled students will share a monthly fee of $104. (Example: With 4 participants each attending member will be charged $26.) This class is a fantastic opportunity for families with a limited budget.

Music Appreciation Class
MakingMusicFun.net offers weekly classes to Phoenix metro area homeschooling families, for students 6-11 years of age. Instruction will begin in September and conclude in May. Students may enroll at anytime. Enrollment is limited to 14 children per class.
Participating children will learn a wide repertoire of rhymes, and folk songs from around the world, and will being exposed to music of the great composers. Throughout the program, an emphasis is placed on developing rhythm competency, in-tune singing and instrumental performance skills.
The instruments provided are pitched and unpitched percussion instruments specifically designed for children. They are designed as an extension of musical learning for the development of literacy, creativity and beat competency. They often provide a bridge for the child who is reluctant to experience music through singing and movement.
Homeschool Class Recital
The Youngtown homeschool music class performed a dance to music from the Disney movie, Tarzan, at a local retirement center. The students learned about musical form, and danced a different step to each section of the music.
