A Wacky Piano Technique Strategy (That Works!)
I teach piano lessons to a family with four girls - two of them are super funny twins! Recently, while I was teaching one of the older girls I heard, "Stop Poking Me", come from one of the twins in the kitchen. I thought, "Huh", kids never seem to have a hard time keeping the fingers firm while poking their brother or sister, yet they are challenged by this while playing the piano.

I tried a new approach - "With rounded fingers, I'd like you to poke the piano." It works! Kids understand what it takes to poke their brother or sister, so the transition to the piano is an easy one.

Color That Note! Worksheets Reformatted
As part of my mission to "sand the underside" of MMF!, I have improved the formatting of the Color That Note Worksheets. Nothing big. They just fit on the page a little better and they are little prettier.
