What's New...

Music Lesson Plans
Need something new to keep things from getting hum drum? I always enjoy creating new lesson plans that make things fun for me, as well as my music students. Kodaly's Viennese Musical Clock from 'Hary Janos Suite', introduces students to seven part rondo form and may be just what you need to kick your new school year off right.

MMF! Beginner Piano Method Book - FREE!
I'm in the process of creating a Level 1A (beginner) All-In-One piano method book. Hopefully I will have it completed for you next month.

My concept for the book is to provide teachers/students with a practical method that focuses on essential skills that will get students playing and enjoying their piano lesson experience.

The method will feature:

•"Partner Songs" - Two pieces that may be assigned in the same week that will drill the same skill, such as rhythm or meter.
•Worksheets that drill note naming and basic rhythms
•Pieces that introduce kids to rhymes with strong literary value, like Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes, as well as a few of my own kooky original rhymes
•Award certificate for completion of this method

When students complete this method they will be able to easily move to the Alfred's Lesson Book Level 1B.
