We are glad to bring you a fun new collection of resources this month, but first we would like to begin this newsletter by reflecting on a few inspirational words:

Need a few lessons ideas?

Teach a lesson on the rhythm "quarter note-quarter note-quarter note-rest." Have the students play the rhythm with rhythm sticks at the end of each four measure phrase.

Teach the rhyme phrase by phrase, asking the students to play the rhythm on the drums. Focus on developing good aural skill and drumming technique. Higher order thinking skills will by very active during this activity.
